Please use the following list as a guide when vacating your property.
The property cannot be inspected until all your belongings have been removed and all keys have been returned, including any extra keys that you have had cut or keys given to relatives or friends.
Things to do before the final inspection:
· Advise your Property Manager of your new forwarding address and phone number.
· Pay your rent until the vacating date.
· Return all keys to this office including window, garage, shed and letterbox keys
· Arrange disconnection of telephone/electricity/gas.
· Re-direct mail to your new address.
What should I clean?
· Carpets/hard floor surfaces should be vacuumed & cleaned
· Carpets to be professionally clean and receipt provided

· Any cobwebs, both inside & outside should be removed
· Skirting boards, window sills and light fittings should be wiped over
· Marks on walls and doors should be removed
· Oven, cook top, griller should be cleaned and soap build up removed in dishwashers
· All bench tops to be wiped down
· All toilets cleaned and disinfected
· Bathrooms cleaned & any mould/soap scum removed from shower, tiles & shower screens
· Exhaust fans in kitchen and bathrooms removed and cleaned
· Any damage to be repaired (to be done in a 'Professional Tradesman' like manner)
· Any fixtures or fitting or curtains returned and put back up if taken down
· Lawns should be mowed and edged and garden beds weeded and fertilized if needed
· Any oil on driveway, under carport to be removed
· Any rubbish should be removed from the property
· Windows to be cleaned
Please note that the initial inspection report issued at the beginning of tenancy will be used as a guide when conducting the final inspection.
Rent is due and payable until all keys are returned.
